Japanese Tree Lilac

​The Japanese tree lilac is widely used under power lines as a boulevard tree due to the height at maturity. These trees are mostly trouble free and offer a compliment to other flowering trees. They flower much like the common lilac in spring. The flowers are very fragrant and showy. These trees will tolerate most urban situations and soils.
