Common Lilac

​The common lilac is one of the most planted and commonly seen plants in the Midwest. It is used widely in the landscape around homes, businesses and along fence lines. The color of the flower and size of the plant is variety dependent. There 100's of different varieties of common lilac so they are quite divergent.
